We serve coffee and donuts after some Sunday masses. This is an opportunity for our parishioners to engage in much-needed fellowship. It is a time to visit as families and friends, to offer a warm welcome to our visiting parishioners and to foster active participation in the activities available here at Sacred Heart. There are no coffee and donuts served on the Sundays when there is a Knights of Columbus breakfast or Faith Formation brunch. The rotation is printed on the parish monthly calendar and in the bulletin.
The donuts are brought in from the local bakery, the best in town, a contribution box is offered for donations to keep this ministry going. The children really look forward to this treat after mass. People who volunteer for this prepare before mass begins and refreshing coffee and donuts as needed.
