The Pastoral Council serves as a consultative body to the Pastor, assisting him through prayer, listening, and dialogue in discerning the pastoral needs of the parish. The Council reflects on the mission of the Church, recommends pastoral priorities, encourages the participation of parishioners in the life and ministries of the parish, and assists with long-range pastoral planning. Through servant leadership and prayerful discernment, the Council helps the parish more faithfully carry out the mission of Christ.
