Advent Lessons and Carols will be held this Saturday, December 16th at 7:00PM at Sacred Heart.
This celebration is a combination of scriptures and music that will take us on a journey from the creation and fall of man, to the coming of the Messiah to redeem the world. It is a wonderful way to begin the last week of Advent as we excitedly prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of our Incarnational Lord.
Music will be presented by a combined choir of over 30 choristers, representing both the Sacred Heart and Christ the King parishes.
Please join us for this event, and please thank these singers who have been rehearsing for weeks to share this gift with the community.
Immediately following Mass on Saturday night, there will be light refreshments in the Parish Hall, with the program beginning at 7:00PM, in the Nave. A light reception will follow the Lessons and Carols, allowing us all to thank the choristers.
Advent Lessons and Carols will also be held on Sunday, December 17th at 4:00PM at Christ the King Church.
