All women of the parish are welcome and encouraged to participate If you are new to the parish, please come and experience what we are. If you attended in the past but have not recently, come and see how we have changed. This is your organization and we want YOU to join us!
What is PCCW?
A parish organization of women that is affiliated with the Diocesan and National Councils of Catholic Women (PCCW). At Sacred Heart we are commonly referred to as the Women of the Heart. We welcome our newcomers and support our homebound parishioners with visits and gifts. Our parish women have a major fundraiser each year and have used funds earned for improvements to our church, community center, and church grounds. Examples of our expenditures are kitchen supplies, grounds landscaping, cemetery upkeep, and altar linens. Also, we have supported various community organizations.
Who is PCCW?
All parish women are members even if you don’t attend a meeting! There are no dues and no RSVP is necessary. You are welcome to attend as often as you are able.
What does PCCW do?
We enjoy social, spiritual and service interaction. When attending a “meeting”, you may enjoy a speaker who gives us insight into health or national issues. You may spend an afternoon reciting the rosary and making a craft for our homebound or playing a game of bunco. Several times a year we host potluck dinners and feature entertainment.
How will PCCW meet your needs?
PCCW can be a great way to have an evening out, for spiritual renewal, or to work with others in service to Sacred Heart. It provides an opportunity for you to share your time, treasure and talents. Social time and food are present at every PCCW function.
When does PCCW meet?
Please consult the bulletin on current meeting dates and time.
